"I had the most vivid dream of Jack last night. He was speaking in 2 word combinations and then all of a sudden he was speaking clearly in sentences. I am praying that dream will come true. My heart thinks so... Jack continues to amaze and overcome the odds. So so proud of him and of you and Jon."

My heart was so happy to see this message in my inbox. I love to hear when people dream about Jack doing things that we are working so hard on. Back a couple years ago, when Jack wasn't moving much, this same friend told me she had dreamed that Jack was running around our backyard in the summer time. That dream seemed so far fetched at the time, almost laughable, but I took hold of it. That dream gave me so much hope.

My husband often has dreams about Jack doing all sorts of things that we don't think are possible. I've even had blog readers write and tell me they've had these kinds of dreams about Jack.

It's so cool, this community.

And in the early hours this morning, I had my first Jack talking dream. In this dream, Jack was playing with my friend's kids. They were laying on the stairs, in sleeping bags, taking a break between sliding down them. (I know... super random). Jack looked over and whispered the cutest two sentences. In the dream, I rushed to grab a piece of paper to write down his precious words. Of course when I woke up, I had no idea what he actually said, but I practically ran into the living room to tell Jon that finally, I had my own Jack talking dream.

May it come true.

This is such a wonderful post and I hope your dreams come true soon! I had a dream Mr Boo could sit unaided and crawl the other night. I woke up so sad that he couldn't, but within half an hour it made me just more determined to do whatever I can to help make it reality.

Goosebumps! I bet that is just how Jack feels too at time... Like its just ther in the ether, just outside of reach. For this moment at least.
