the cuteness.

Don't you just love kids in their pj's? I do. In fact, we make it a rule around here to stay in our pj's quite often.

always a remote

I'm cherishing our last days before school starts. Getting lots of lazy cuddling mornings in while we can. It's going to be a very big change in all our lives, this whole waking up at a certain time/getting out the door routine. I will have an extra 6 hours to myself during the week (oh the possibilities!) and Jack will get to experience his first time away from family. We have never had anyone, besides both sets of Grandparents, watch Jack. This will be pretty significant for him. I'm sure it will take Jack (and mommy) a bit to settle in to our new routine.

Of course, I will let you all know how it goes. For now, I'm basking in these last days of summer.

Can you believe we're in the days of preschool already?!? I remember being in the NICU and thinking, "I hope she'll be healthy enough to go to preschool some day" and lo and behold, it's here!! The first few days are going to be rough on both of you (at least they were for us) but I would sneak back in and check her out in the one way mirror and she was playing her heart out. It made me happy and proud and a little sad- but only because she didn't need JUST ME anymore :) Can't wait to hear how it goes. We start Sept. 5.

Love the photos!!! Can't wait to hear how it goes. My 30 weeker, 2lbs twins will be turning 1 next month and I can't believe how time has flown by. I remember sitting in the NICU thinking these days would never come, and they have, way to fast!
