Our big reveal!

We are so excited to announce a book about Jack’s micro-beginnings called You Don’t Know Jack: A Micro-Preemie Story. Jon has been working on it for the past year and a half, with a few portions even coming from those well-loved email updates he wrote while Jack was in the NICU. We’ve had many people suggest putting Jack’s story into a book, and now we are trying to make that happen!

We have our finished manuscript and we are launching a website devoted to the book: www.youdontknowjackbook.com. On this website you can read the first three chapters, get weekly updates on the efforts to get it published, and learn how YOU CAN HELP us get this book into the hands of the public.

Did we mention how excited we are about this?!

You Don’t Know Jack: A Micro-Preemie Story will not only be a useful resource for new micro-preemie parents and families, it is also a great story of faith, hope and life. I am so proud of Jon and all the work he’s put into this project. It truly is amazing. Please visit the website and make sure you “like” the Life with Jack Facebook page in order to get notices when we update the book website.

We cherish our slice of the web, all of your support, and we can’t wait for Jack’s story to reach many, many more people.

Here we go!

Oh Jessi, this is great. I read the excerpt and cried like a baby. Jon is an amazing writer. What I loved most was that I felt like I was getting the whole story. I LOVE your blog, but I sort of felt like I jumped into a book half-way through. Reading the beginning of your journey was so powerful. And of course, it reminded me a lot of our own story with Samuel. I can't wait to read the whole thing!

I loved the first few chapters. I know that I wouldn't be able to put the book down. It's very well-written and captivating. I've read tons of preemie memoirs and aside from Half-Baked, none are any good. The market needs a well-written memoir. Good luck with publishing!

The two of you are amazing writers. I love the idea of the book and I do hope it gets published. As always, thanks for sharing Jack's story.
