Exciting News

I've been holding off on some exciting news and I just can't hold it in any longer! No, I'm not pregnant. No, Jack isn't walking independently... yet. And no, we didn't win the lottery, although it sure feel like it!

The exciting news is that my parents got an apartment and are now living here in Helena part-time! I can't tell you how much this means to Jon and I. We can now go on dates! I can now schedule some things during the day. Already this week I have done two photoshoots, met friends for coffee, gone out on a date with my man, and got my hair done!

NEW HAIR!!

Not only am I excited about this new found freedom with having babysitters close by (I could seriously have a whole post on why it is so hard to find babysitters that know how to deal with g-tubes), I am just so, so very happy that Jack will be able to grow up knowing my parents, playing with them, snuggling with them, and getting spoiled by them.

Welcome to Helena, Cheeks and Grams!

Wow Jess! That's amazing - what a blessing! I'm so thankful to have my mom close by and willing to watch the kids. When she can't it's frustrating to find time to do appointments... SO happy you have that option now. I'm sipping some chai and thinking of the little (and big!) ways God reminds us He remembers - and cares. Cute hair by the way!

Congrats!!! SOO exciting! You're right, there are amazing perks, but the best of all is that Jackman will know Grandma and Cheeks so well. Beautiful! (And your hair? Suuuuper cute!!) Miss you!

Most importantly- your hair looks fantastic! So glam! And, I'm totally jealous of your grandbabysitters. Our parents are 2+ hours away so dates for us are few and far between... maybe one day, when Bea goes to college we'll have some hope at a normal martial relationship :)

Can I just say that I'm SOOOOOO jealous?!? How blessed you are to have such great parents to take care of Jack while you take care of you. I know it's been a long time coming. You deserve it. Your hair looks great btw!

Yay yay yay!!!!! I am sooo excited for you! I too know exactly how hard it is to find a babysitter who will not freak out looking at a g-tube or playing with pumps hehe. I am so glad you have a little freedom now, and more time with realatives.
p.s. I love that picture of Jack :)

I'm excited that I'll get some more time with you. :) And also to get to know your wonderful parents. I grew up with my grandparents nearby and there's really nothing like it. SO happy for you guys!
