300th Post!

Wow. I've been blogging for three years now. In the beginning, I didn't blog very often or with much substance. That all changed when we had Jack. Jon started to update all of our friends and family on Jack's NICU journey and those updates were put on the blog. The blog grew. Then when we got home, I used this place to deal with the reality of bringing a critically ill baby into our care. I watched Jack grow in strength and health and wrote all about my own emotions, the good and the bad, and how my own journey was mirroring Jack's in a way. Blogging has been a healing hobby for me and has allowed me to get to know many of my favorite micro parents out there. It's been a good thing.

In honor of our 300th post, we thought it would be fun to link to our absolute favorites from Life with Jack, starting from earliest to most recent. Some popular, some barely read, but all very special to us. Sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy.

Happy 300th post to us!

Congrats on your 300th post! I enjoy reading your blog and wish I had found it sooner than I did. It would have helped during those early weeks knowing there were other people out there who had survived the NICU experience with a micro preemie. Thanks for sharing your favorites.

This is great Jessi! I love knowing which posts you enjoy the most...or that were special to you. My favorite (from your list) are: Mugs, The Micro Preemie Roller Coaster, Day 16, and Happy Birthday Jackpants!

I loved looking back on Jack's journey. I can't remember when I started reading your blog, but I really enjoyed looking back. I loved when you wrote, "I am stronger than ever before. I am also damaged like never before." It describes exactly how I feel. I also nodded in agreement to so many of the What Not to Say statements. I have always wanted to reply to the comment about building immunity (but never had the nerve), "How about you work on immunity with your full-term child while I work on keeping mine ALIVE!" Maybe I'll work up the nerve to say it to someone this flu/RSV/cold season.

How did you link the posts? I am about to reach my 200th post and would love to link some of my old posts. Thanks!
