Flathead Vacation: Part 1

Every summer we head to the Flathead for a long weekend. Jon's work hosts the Governor's Cup Golf Tournament. Besides golfing, it's really an excuse for politicians, lobbyists, and businesses to get together. This was our 6th year attending and we always have a great time. The Flathead (Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork, and Glacier National Park) is really my most favorite part of Montana. It is beautifully breathtaking.

: Photos and Memories of our Trip :

Our first night in Whitefish, Montana was for the Sandbaggers opening night dinner. We got Jack dressed in his finest "golfing" attire and set out for the party happening under the big tent.

Daddy and the rest of the MT Chamber crew had to register all the golfers.

So we took that time to have an impromptu photo shoot. Beautiful boy.

You ready to go under the big tent, daddy?

It was really, really loud under the big tent. We grabbed a table.

And "The Hand" made lots of appearances.

mmm... ribs.

This whole sitting at the table is no fun. I want to play!

Uncle Webby, will you play with me?

Before our night was over, Jack got a real treat when Governor Martz gave him some tickles.

Look at you, Jack. Moving up in the world. Maybe one day it will be "Governor Jack Bennion"...

Remember this?

P.S. had to get one more hat pic in here. cute. cute. cute. cute. cute.
