Day 2

Day 2: Picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

Heather, Dylan, I, and another cute girl enjoying our Christmas Eve snack, 1984.

I met my friend Heather, well I guess at birth. We have known each other our whole lives. Heather's mom Nancy and my mom are best friends, so I guess we have been bff's right along with them. I have many wonderful memories of Heather and I in our early days and lots of pictures to go right along with it. We are both around 2 yrs old in the picture above. I tried to find a specific picture for this challenge of us around 12 months old, but I couldn't find it anywhere... must be at my parents house.

Heather and I went to the same church and the same school growing up. We were inseparable until her family decided to make the big move from Montana to Virginia the summer before our 5th grade year. This was so very hard on me. I loved my friend Heather and couldn't imagine life in Missoula without the Feucht family. Heather's father was a dedicated Dermatologist who decided to give up his lucrative practise and dedicate his life to medical missions. I eventually went on four missions trips (two with Heather) through his organization.

Heather and I have kept close throughout our lives, even with living across the country. We have been back and forth between our respective cities many times and Heather was a bridesmaid in my wedding. I love this girl! She is so talented. She seriously has one of the best voices I have ever heard. She sings like an angel and has even traveled with a professional singing group.

I've been blessed because I've gotten to see Heather twice over the past 7 months. She came during the summer and then in December. I swear she still looks like she's 14 and doesn't age a bit! She is Auntie Heather to Jack now and he loves her, too!
